| Position: Customer Service (Insurance)

JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent will provide exemplary customer service to clients in any of the Service Department Teams, who have vehicle and/or habitational policies.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provide coverage of a book of client business during vacations or other absences, aas primary contact with clients for service issues and general concerns during the life of the policy General client service, acting as primary contact with company underwriters Prepare instruction for, and monitor the completion of fulfillment tasks delegated to other members of the team - utilizing required forms Alert team members, especially brokers whose book is being covered, to issues requiring follow-up action or communication with the client Remain alert for opportunities to up sell coverage (such as optional accident benefits, valuable articles, claims protection) Refer accounts that are to be rounded (adding auto to habitational-only policies and vice versa) to Personal Lines Sales When the insurer issues a non-renewal, notify the client and offer alternative coverage, if appropriate Maintain complete and accurate client activity notes Maintain current and up to date voice mail log books Return voice mail messages as per Service guidelines Maintain suspense and keeping current (within 5 days)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Formal training in general business practices. R.I.B.O. license required. Three to five years of successful customer service brokerage experience. Familiarity with SigXp required. Second language skills (especially Cantonese or Mandarin) considered an asset.
