Description Our company, is one of Canada’s leading SaaS eCommerce providers is seeking a skilled and passionate Quality Assurance Engineer/Software Developer in Test. An ideal candidate has worked on a number of Enterprise-grade Web Applications and desktop software applications and has experience with ASP.NET, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience with automating testing platforms is an asset. Candidates will be required to demonstrate exceptional knowledge of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes. The position is based out of Richmond Hill, Ontario (just outside of Toronto). The Office environment is young and casual but also fast paced.

Experience Degree or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or college level application development program. At least 3years’ experience in Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities Testing new features and functionality of our platform Authoring test plans, test cases and QA documentation Building automated test scripts Thoroughly documenting deficiencies in order to generate bug reports, and then verifying the issues are resolved correctly by our development team Building test harnesses in .NET and ASP.NET in order to test specific features and isolate issues Working with our support team to triage support requests, and then properly communicating issues to the development team Assist in identifying performance issues Providing assistance to the Technical Writing Team Communicating with our Technical Account Managers and Support Technicians regarding issues, answering general questions and helping to provide application support Reporting to our Management Team on a regular basis with regards to progress and overall software quality

Requirements Knowledge of object oriented design and programming using C# and ASP.NET 3.5 Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 (programming with T-SQL) A desire to take part in the development process as it related to QA – triaging issues, documenting deficiencies, re-testing fixes Experience working with C#, ASP.NET, .NET framework, JavaScript Experience with testing/investigation tools (SoapUI, Fiddler, Firebug, etc.) Experience working in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Assets Knowledge of Active Directory, IIS, Exchange and other Microsoft Server Products Team Foundation Server Experience with other eCommerce Products, OMS, CRM, etc
