Salary: 50k-70k

This position is responsible for leading the efforts to design, implement and manage the data and voice networks for BDO Seidman. This position requires technical skills related to voice and data networking in a primarily Cisco-centric environment as well as the skills to work with and manage vendors who provide the services required to deliver these solutions for BDO. Working with several internal IT departments and other support services departments is also a vital function of this position. Essential Duties/Functions Develop, plan and implement the overall strategic goals of an organization's network system Recommend, implement, and maintain network (LAN and WAN) and telephony architectures. Evaluate and recommend changes to current and future network requirements to meet the organization's needs. Work with Security Engineer to ensure network designs maintain the integrity of BDO Seidman's systems Serve as technical resource for the Project Management Office Other duties as required

Responsibilities Knowledge, Skills and Abilities High level of proficiency with implementing, configuring, managing and troubleshooting the following technologies: Cisco Network Hardware (ASA, 38xx ISRs, Nexus 7000 chassis, 37xx switches, Wireless access points) Cisco IPSEC/SSL VPN Technologies Juniper WXC Hardware Routing protocols e.g. BGP and EIGRP Cisco Voice Gateway Technologies (MGCP, SIP, H323) Voice General Topics/Skills (PSTN, Paging, and Analog Faxing) IP Multicast Routing and Distribution Structured Cabling (Data/ Voice MDF/IDF Build out and Design) Network troubleshooting using standard software & hardware tools Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and deal with unexpected problems in a professional manner Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of employees and management Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills with a strong attention to detail Ability to work well with a team as well as independently Ability to interact and build consensus among people

Qualifications Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area or at least 8 years of experience in the field.

License/Certifications: CCNP, CCVP, CCIE Certifications are preferred
