Salary: 90k-95k

MUST have Unix & Linux management experience.

Job Experience: Minimum 8+ years experience with LINUX and Solaris. Must be very hands-on technical, have a passion for production support. 10+ years experience managing UNIX and midrange technical teams. Bachelor Degree in business or technology related discipline. Very strong problem analysis and resolution skills. Thoroughly understand protocols and internal operations of Unix utilities/tools Ability to schedule resources, plan work tasks for team and provide workflow reports to management Experience in real-time support environments, understanding mission critical operations and the administration requirements around restoration of services Ability to mentor, coach and train others Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to motivate others and share skills and knowledge Follow and create standards for builds, processes, on-call rotations etc.

Key technical Requirements: For each of the technologies and services below, candidates must know: commands associated with the technology the configuration file options/directives for each technology Thoroughly understand the internal, low level protocol operations of each technology

Linux and all services within RedHat Linux, and Solaris. Senior experience in NIS, NFS, DNS and naming services, LDAP, Jumpstart & Kickstart, Veritas Cluster Server and complex clustering technologies, Veritas Volume Manager and ODS/SVM, Security analysis, system integration and architecture skills Performance analysis and tuning SAN/Storage, fabric, Luns, switches, replication Networking, TCP/IP

BCP/DR Strong VM-Ware and virtualization experience
