Job Summary: Duties include responding to all calls dispatched to by the on duty Com - Tech in a timely manner, in accordance with the Ambulance Act and the Saskatchewan Protocols for EMT-A as set down by the Department of Health Acute and Emergency Services Branch. Duties also include being stationed at Langenburg Health Care Complex to provide assistance within the facility.

Qualifications/Experience: • Certificate from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Arts and Science at the E.M.T.A. Level • Must hold a current Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver’s License and must be licensed with the Department of Health • Must be able to respond to Langenburg Health Care Complex within a reasonable amount of time

Hours of Work: • 42 shifts of 7 hours in a 9 week rotation • Days/evenings/nights/weekends • Standby as required

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.
