Job Purpose Our Client, an industry leader in consumer electronics, has enlisted Campaigners, a division of Advantage Sales and Marketing, LLC (ASM), to handpick a team of SALES-focused Weekend Warriors (WW) to drive real, measurable sales growth of its imaging and projector products at select retail locations. Campaigners is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, passionate individuals who enjoy interacting with store associates and customers and promoting our Client’s exciting line of printing solutions and projectors. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, ambitious, committed to self and driven to succeed. This person should also have strong communication skills with the confidence to influence key decision makers at the store level. They must possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to work independently. Dates August 1, 2009 – December 20, 2009
Hours August, September, October - Saturdays and Sundays, 1pm – 5pm November, December - Saturdays and Sundays, 12pm – 5pm
Job Responsibilities / Requirements:
Customer Selling
Enthusiastically engage, qualify and close customers on client products Demonstrate the strengths and features of client products to customers using company supplied materials Seek opportunities in multiple departments throughout the store to maximize sales Promote client attachment sales
Sales Associate Training During slower traffic periods, train sales associates on the client’s products Increase brand recommendation rate amongst sales associates Generate positive brand awareness in store
Retail Merchandising Ensure client products are on display and functioning properly Ensure products are priced correctly Work with store management to ensure adequate levels of in-store inventory Ensure all merchandising materials are placed properly and in full compliance with store’s guidelines Field Photos – capture photos of in-store activity and competitive findings
Field Intelligence Solicit feedback from customers and sales associates Capture competitive intelligence
Behavioral Requirements Results and action oriented – ownership minded Professional demeanor and image compatible with the Client and Campaigners Independent, self-motivated, and organized, while remaining flexible and adaptable
Technical Requirements Must be Internet savvy 24 hour/7 days a week computer and Internet (broadband preferred) Must be able to complete online training/call reports Reliable transportation: i.e. personal car for transportation to stores/events /meetings General familiarity with imaging solutions and access to a digital camera are highly desirable
Legal Requirements Valid driver’s license. Name listed as a driver on an auto insurance policy Legal authority to work in Canada Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record screening
Dress Code Requirements Name tag and branded Polo shirt provided Khaki, navy, or black solid pants (must be professional: no cargo or denim pants) Closed toed sturdy shoes (no open toed, sandals, or sneakers)
