| Full time Registered Nurse required for 60 bed Long Term Care Facility. Works under the direction of the Director of Care to coordinate, supervise and ensure nursing care is delivered in a consistent and safe manner. Orders, receives, processes and administers prescribed medicatin and treatments in accordance with the standards set by the college of Nurses of Ontario. Assesses and monitors conditions of residents and reports changes in physical or mental status to the attending Physician and family. Develops and revises resident care plans and implemnts and evaluates the effectiveness of the plan. Is responsible to maintain resdient records and ensure that medication and treatment charting is done in compliance with established standards and legislative requirements. Adheresw to established policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, environmental and infection control. Ensures compliance by staff. Oversees the unit/facility activities, needs and problem related to resident care.
