Specific Requirements: This outbound position is an entry-level front line Call Centre role using a computerized information system. The Financial Sales Agent is responsible for making telephone contact directly with customers as part of a promotional offer for existing customers generally using an automatic dialer. The agent is also responsible for dialing various promotional offers, each with different features within the customer´s eligibility. Communication is exclusively outbound and provides education to existing customers with regards to new promotional offers. This is a non-technical role (basic computer knowledge) and requires data input. Call handling is based on the client requirements. All agents will be given product knowledge and sales cycle training. Responsibilities: · Engages the customer in needs-analysis questions in order to provide the most appropriate product. · Provides assistance to customers to better understand product features, benefits and uses · Required to meet specific performance standards and quality targets · Initiates customer fulfillment requests via standard procedures and/or third party contact · Answers customer questions / conducts selling using formatted screens, scripts and procedures · Knowledge requirement is limited to basic product knowledge on limited product line · Has ability to respond to common questions asked by customers, typically learned during initial training (prior knowledge of program / product content not required) · Evaluates need for call escalation and may forward problem calls to supervisor for resolution or more detailed information · Contacts supervisor to obtain clarification or detail for responding to some questions · Reads and researches relevant materials and resources to stay current in programs · Initiates sales transfer through scripted process using data capture Essential Qualifications: Education/Knowledge:High School Graduation or equivalent; General knowledge of windows-based applications Experience / Skill:Six months experience in sales and/or customer contact role in face to face or telephone-based environment. Basic computer skills required.
