Job Description: | Job Description: Journeyman or Red Seal Certified & experienced Cabinetmaker/woodworker/joiner with solid wood experience. Door and millwork experience desirable. Expected to have own hand tools and to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications; trim joints and fit parts together, sand wooden surfaces; apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare layouts for wood articles; set up and operate saws and other woodworking machines to cut, shape and form parts; operate power actuated tools; machine components for cabinets, furniture and other items; prepare and apply laminated plastics; prepare and apply metal laminates; design and make templates, jogs and fixtures for production of furniture and other products; assemble millwork products such as stairs; install cabinets and custom woodworking at job sites; possibly supervise apprentices and woodworkers. Applicant must be able to work independently and as a team player. Powder days (20+ cm rule) mornings or afternoons off, optional; plus many other benefits of working and living in a Rocky Mountain Resort town. This is a full time position. 40 hours per week, consisting of four 10-hour days work agreement, allows for a 3 day weekend every week, production bonuses paid when applicable. Salary is commensurate with experience (benefits available after probationary period).
