| EnerSearch Group is currently looking for a Instrumentation and Control Engineer for our prestigious client in Ontario. Job Description: • Detail design of instrumented control systems used in a Nuclear Power Plant. • Interface and coordinate with other disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, etc), to complete integrated designs. • Interface with Project Engineering, Scheduling and Cost Control Monitoring. • Preparation of technical specifications for instrumentation, electrical and control equipment. • Engineering Calculation of; Control Valve sizing (I&C), voltage drop and short circuit, transient dynamic analysis (Elec), EQ, Seismic. • Estimating for preliminary designs, detailed designs, equipment, and scheduling. • Verification of designs • Quality Assurance • Must be aware of Human Factors, HMI and configuration management considerations in design. • Must be familiar with CAD and interpretation of EWDs, EA’s, CWD’s, P&IDs. • PLC logic • Must be familiar with major electrical equipment, motors, generators, power distribution, power and control cabling.
Junior to Intermediate Position: Consistent with 2 to 6 years of relevant experience
Qualifications: Degree in Applied Science or Engineering
Professional Status: Professional Engineer of Ontario
Codes and Standards Canadian: Electrical Safety Code, EMAC, National Building Code, CSA Z299, ISO, ULc, EC, CSA N286 series
Software (working Knowledge): Microsoft Office Suit, Excel, Power Point, ETAP or EDSA, AutoCAD2006 |
