| Overview
This is a strong opportunity for a senior player in the lands surveying industry to relocate to NT. This position will involve some work in extreme climates throughout the artic region of Canada.
This role has defined advancement into an executive position within the firm and presents a terrific opportunity for the right candidate to bring their experience to a senior role in Northern Canada.
You’ll also be compiling other survey data and making legal/pre-engineering recommendations to clients. This company has a very established client list throughout Northern Canada including the federal government and several large players in the diamond sector.
Time will be split roughly 50/50 between the office and the field.
You will also be involved in communicating with clients and survey crews so strong communication and interpersonal skills will be required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
The selected candidate will have post secondary level Survey Engineering degree and 5 years of professional exposure to projects. CLS recognition is required for this particular position. Recent grads are welcome to apply for similar positions.
Familiarity with Leica and RTK GPS systems knowledge of the MicroSurvey software platform are strong assets, however those with a proven ability to perform sub-artic surveys will be considered.
Some experience working as a Canada Lands Surveyor is an asset however other surveying experience will be considered.
Relocation to Yellowknife, NT is required for this position and the company will cover some or all of the costs depending on the candidate.
