General Purpose / Scope of Position: • Support Manager and Recruiters as needed, in performing their key job elements and responsibilities. • Organize and maintain candidate files • Coordinate local purchasing activity • Maintain and process contractor expense and payroll records • Support employee on-boarding and orientation processes • Assist with recruitment and job posting activities • Build and maintain strong employee relationships
Key Job Elements: • Act as our first line of contact with incoming calls and appointments • Provide support to contract employees within our region - respond to benefit and payroll queries • Receive and process contractor time sheets and expense reports • Assist in accounts payable process • Build strategic relationships with contractors • Update and maintain contractor files • Assist with job postings and candidate searches • Assist with marketing letters and mailing blitzes • Ordering of local office supplies • Maintain office equipment and service agreements • Responsible for performance of Quality System procedures in relation to job description • Other key duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Required to Excel in this Role: • Highly motivated team player • Dynamic and effective communicator • Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and create win-win solutions • Well-honed computer skills - Word, Excel, Powerpoint and customer/candidate databases • Excellent internet researching skills
Education and Experience: • College diploma • Minimum two (2) years proven experience in a similar role where you were called upon to put your excellent and customer service and office coordination skills to use • Previous experience in a similar role in the staffing industry a strong asset. |
