· To work without supervision in a safe manner maintaining a clean and orderly shop, · To ensure that the plant and production equipment function with minimum downtime, · To follow and take initiative in PM maintenance, · To take responsibility for all mechanical & electrical plant maintenance requirements, · To maintain the inventory of spare parts and their associated storage location, · To ensure that spares used are replaced immediately, · To respond to break-downs immediately, · Responsible to maintain all shop tools, · To monitor equipment performance and document potential problems, · Focus on continuous improvement of equipment performance, · To comply with all quality related policies, procedures and system requirements, · Perform all work as requested.

Gas Welder Cutting Torch Multimeter & Electrical instruments

Cut-off Saw Forklift & Lifting Equipment

Education:

Licensed Millwright, or equivalent with Minimum Grade 12 and training or experience in troubleshooting of related industrial maintenance machine controls.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience as a licensed Millwright, Industrial Mechanic or Electrician in related Industrial maintenance. Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical controls & welding. Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC ‘s an asset. Ability to read electrical / mechanical drawings & schematics. Able to work with minimum supervision in a safe and orderly manner.
