Salary: $16.87 Hourly, for 40 Hours per week, Other Benefits

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A)

Experience: 1 - 2 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Type of Trucking and Equipment: Refrigerated

Type of Travel: Local

Documentation Knowledge: Maintenance and repair reports, Accident or incident reports

Communication Equipment Experience: Citizens band (CB) radio

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract) Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
