Position Information:

We are currently recruiting an Audio Software Engineer with digital audio related experience that will develop device drivers for MPEG/AC-3/AAC.

Requirements:

• Strong embedded software design and development skills

• Proficient in C coding and scripting languages

• Experience in Windows and Linux development environments

• Familiarity with audio industry standard specifications (MPEG, AC3 Dolby, etc)

• Experience in AC3 encoding/decoding algorithms (downmix and multichannel), MPEG audio (layers 1, 2 and 3) encoding/decoding algorithms, SIF (BTSC and NiCAM) audio encoding/decoding algorithms, audio transmission (Transport, PES, ES packets), audio/video synchronization, audio interfaces (S/PDIF, I2S, ACLINK), various LPCM formats, audio quality verification (measurement, troubleshooting, compliance)

• Experience in MPEG-2 ACC encoding/decoding algorithms, DTS encoding/decoding algorithms, HE ACC endoding/decoding algorithms, audio post processing techniques (midnight mode, SRS TruSurround, Dolby Virtual Speaker)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
