AgCareers.com is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Sales and Project Management Internship. In this position you will work directly with account managers and be in direct contact with agriculture professionals across the globe. You will be able to learn and interact with our sales, marketing and management team daily. 

The job will be located out of our Guelph, ON location. The position will begin May 3rd, 2010 – August 27th, 2010. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change 

• Performs client (employer, recruiter and job seeker) relations duties 
• Generate media and advertising sales and obtain renewal orders 
• Promote advantages of Company services i.e. job board, eLearning 
• Process new orders in Canada and other regions as needed 
• Complete database/spreadsheet entry 
• Assures proper functioning of career site and updates site as required 
• Will be responsible for special marketing projects as assigned 
• Ensure SalesForce (sales tracking database) reporting and client updates are current 
• Communicate with team members, clients and potential customers via phone, email and in person 
• Support research projects and data analysis 
• Other functions may be assigned as business evolves 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrollment in post-secondary education, returning to school in September 2010 
• Agriculture background and/or knowledge will be an asset but not required 
• Sales or customer service experience an asset 
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Internet career sites 
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, , Outlook, data base management 
• Ability to travel within the region on a limited basis with occasional overnight travel required

• Highly professional demeanor and ability to work independently 
• Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills 
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. 
• Ability to demonstrate creativity, innovation and brain storming 
• Excellent oral / written communication skills 
• Must be able to provide continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
