Sales and Software Support Manager- Eastern Ontario

Working from your home office, ideally situated in the Ottawa valley, you will be responsible to manage and lead the sales, support and delivery of DHI and Herd Management Software services, to dairy farmer and Advisor clients throughout the territory.

The major responsibilities of the position will involve: 

1.Direct Sales and Promotions of DHI products and services, with the objective to grow Market Share and develop customer loyalty. 

2.Direct Sales, Installation and Support of DairyCOMP Herd Management Software. A key responsibility will be to assist customers to understand and effectively utilize DairyCOMP information and features, to improve overall herd management and herd profitability. 

3.Supervision of 20 DHI Field Staff.

You are a hands on, highly motivated individual, with three to five years experience in a sales and service environment. You have the ability to deliver effective sales strategy, and you have a thorough understanding of dairy herd management practices. You also possess experience in personal computer software and/or hardware. In addition, you are bilingual, have a University degree or diploma, preferably in Agriculture, and superior communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the dairy industry and an understanding of dairy herd management practices are important. Staff supervisory experience will be considered an asset.  Finally, your passion for quality customer service combined with your strength at value based selling and problem solving will make you the ideal candidate.
