Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers has an immediate opening for a full-time Sales Site Coordinator (SSC) at our site in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The SSC for this location will support the field management and sales team in preparation for sales in Saskatoon and at other sale sites. This is a unique job for a unique individual, who will enjoy the fact that no two days are the same on this job! The Key Responsibilities: • Check-in and proofing of equipment, EPA inspections and equipment write-ups. • Coordinating sale advertising (brochures and catalogs). • Photographing equipment for advertising. • Assisting with determining sale order, maintaining sale sequencing, determining pricing. • Handling proxy and internet bids. • Responding to customer inquiries about sales and equipment. • Coordinating transportation for equipment. • Support sales staff with quotation process. • Supervising sale day staff. The Key Requirements Our ideal candidate will have these attributes: • One to two years of experience in a customer service or sales position is ideal. • Strong knowledge or a strong desire to gain knowledge of construction equipment and trucks. • You're a resourceful, “think-on-your feet” person with drive, initiative, and a real commitment to getting the job done. • You're an above-average communicator who is at ease dealing with customers and team members. • No small detail will be left unhandled in your domain because you’re so organized! • You’ll be all of this, plus you're really comfortable using technology such as computers and digital cameras. This job will require you to: • Maintain a valid, clean driver’s license. • Climb on and off large equipment and trucks. • Work both indoors and outdoors year-round. • Work extended overtime hours and on weekends surrounding sale dates 8 times a year. • Travel 3 times a year, for 10 to 14 days at a time, to Regina.
