As a Bog Supervisor within the business unit PREMIER HORTICULTURE, you will manage the Harvest and Production Team at our Caribou Bog, Moose Lake, Manitoba. 

Your responsibilities: 
- Promote safe behaviours, actions involved in OSH, implement and ensure compliance with OSH requirements and physical security of site; 
- Participate in establishing harvest objectives and action plans; 
- Control the work schedules and guarantee harvest quality and quantities; 
- Promote and manage all aspects of the Quality Program; 
- Resolve work-related problems encountered on site. Manage work relations in accordance with the collective agreement; 
- Support team members including training and mentoring. 

Your profile: 
- Agricultural, Sciences, or Engineering background and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership position; 
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication and analytical skills. 

To fill this position, we are looking for a candidate with a combination of training and relevant experience. Management experience in a unionized and agricultural environment is an asset. This position requires reliability, to be team oriented, to have the ability to work under pressure, and to multi-task within a fast paced environment.
