As a Bog Manager within the business unit PREMIER HORTICULTURE, you will manage the harvest teams at our Athabasca and Buck Lake locations.

Your responsibilities:

- Promote safe behaviours, actions involved in OSH, implement and ensure compliance with OSH requirements and physical security of site; 
- Participate in establishing harvest objectives and action plans; 
- Ensure conformity with environmental laws and regulations; 
- Control the work schedules and guarantee harvest quality and quantities; 
- Resolve work-related problems encountered on site and manage work relations in accordance with the collective agreement; 
- Support team members including training and mentoring.

Your profile:

- Agricultural background with minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role; 
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication and analytical skills.

To fill this position, we are looking for a candidate with a combination of training and relevant experience. A management experience in a unionized and agricultural environment is an asset. This position requires reliability, to be team oriented, to have the ability to work under pressure, and to multi-task within a fast paced environment. Extensive travel will be required.
