The incumbent ensures that customer service is provided in a manner that adheres to Cargill's commitment of providing superior customer service at all times.   Accountabilities: 60% - Operates the farm service centre facility in a safe and efficient manner. This requires working knowledge of all machinery at the facility, enabling the facility assistant to perform all duties necessary for receiving and shipping grain. A significant portion of these responsibilities could include operating cleaning and/or grain-drying equipment. The incumbent also ensures plant and grounds conform to fire and safety standards.   20% - Provides high-level customer service by understanding the customer's needs and ensuring the needs are met as they relate to the service provided at the Farm Service Centre. Promotes a positive, friendly atmosphere that is attractive to customers.   20% - As an effective member of the team, the incumbent continually seeks ways to improve safety, productivity and customer service. Follows existing controls to minimize the location grain and crop inputs inventory losses. Seeks continuous improvement through the use of training and skill development. Assists in motivating and training fellow employees and seasonal staff. Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to be a contributing team member. Strong customer service orientation. Good working knowledge of grains and agronomy acquired through practical experience as well as training. Strong problem solving, decision-making and organizational skills. Mechanical aptitude.
