Prairie Centre Credit Union is currently seeking Business Development Managers for our Eatonia branch. Successful applicants must be community-minded individuals that are prepared to relocate to the community of the branch location. This position reports to the Regional Manager Sales.

Qualifications: 

•Previous financial industry experience is a must (Credit Union experience is a definite asset) 
•Proven agricultural, consumer and commercial lending experience 
•Strong decision making problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills 
•Ability to be adaptable and flexible in an ever-changing environment 
•Committed to ongoing professional development 
•Thorough understanding of and commitment to change management 
•Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite 
•Post secondary education and/or the Associate or Fellow of the Credit Union Institute of Canada

Successful candidates will be: 

•Responsible for the overall business activities and day-to-day operation of the branch 
•Manage a loan portfolio comprised primarily of agriculture and consumer loans 
•Provide performance management by leading, coaching and guiding staff in developing individual action plans 
•Able to motivate staff to succeed in achieving their targeted goals 
•Responsible for the professional development of all employees 
•Actively demonstrate a leadership role through business development initiatives and growth of the deposit and loan portfolios 
•Develop/implement an annual budget and branch plan consistent with Prairie Centre’s vision and strategic initiatives 
•Proactive and committed to promoting a sales culture based on member needs 
•Provide exceptional member service
