Cargill Animal Nutrition provides customized animal productivity solutions to commercial producers across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Position Objective: As an Associate, you will enter Cargill's training program to develop into a Species Consultant.  As an Associate, you will be partnered with a senior species consultant to assist in your development and understanding of the industry while gaining the nutritional expertise to interact with clients and prospective customers in the livestock sector.  You will be focused on developing and executing on current and proposed business strategies to provide solutions in helping the customer reach their operational goals.
 
Summary: As an Associate you will:
  • Establish and build effective customer relationships
  • Work with customers to enhance the profitability of their business
  • Work closely with team members to solve complex customer issues
  • Provide communication between the customer and Cargill business management team
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans
  • Implement promotions and advertising to build the Cargill brand
  • Provide critical input to the business management team
Your career path can lead to sales and marketing roles, as well as divisional and corporate opportunities in functional and general management positions. Cargill currently has two Associate role openings in Southern Alberta (Lethbridge, AB) and Central Alberta (Red Deer / Camrose, AB).

Qualifications
  • A demonstrated passion for success and ability to solve complex problems
  • Preference for candidates that have completing a Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related discipline (Ag, Commerce, Business)
