Position Overview:
Reporting to the Malt Barley Merchant, the Malt Program Coordinator will work closely with the Malt Barley Merchants, Grain Quality Assurance department and our Country locations to ensure our end user Malt Barley contracts are executed efficiently. This position is accountable for coordinating the corporate Malt Barley position, in addition to ensuring our ability to execute on both Malt Barley purchase and sales contracts. Using your strong organizational skills as well as your ability to complete projects in a timely fashion, you will act as the coordinator between these departments to fulfill our contractual obligations. You will have clear targets to work towards and will be responsible for development of a clear strategic plan to facilitate our contract execution. Principal Accountabilities:
50% - Create, maintain and communicate a long term allocation / shipping plan for the entire malt program for each end user by product; Maximizing movement and bin utilization at shipping locations for both rail and truck movements. 35% - Create, maintain and communicate a balanced supply to sale position for each end user by malt variety, adjusting for quality changes or product losses: work in collaboration with country and program administrators to make sure the internal data base is reflective of our actual stock and that we have the products and resources to meet the terms of the contracts. 10% - Produce and provide timely malt product position statements for each end use customer's contracts on the products and the delivery of the end product. 5% - Identify and maximize freight opportunities on an ongoing basis.

Skills: Required: · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to motivate and influence others. · Demonstrated initiative, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. · Strong customer service skills. · Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail · Experience using Microsoft Office, including MS Excel and MS Access. Preferred:
· 3-5yrs of experience working in the grain industry. · Understanding of and experience working with Specialty crops. · Experience with contract compliance. |
