Specialized education or training in Agriculture

High level of organizational skills, and the ability to generate technical and written reports Overview of Position: The Hatchery Operations Coordinator plans, coordinates, directs, and evaluates the day-to-day activities and work flow of the hatchery operation. Responsibilities and duties include: Coordinates with Production Coordinator, supply of hatching eggs, pick up of hatching eggs, setting of hatching eggs, ensuring efficient and cost effective hatching and filled orders to customers.
Supervises all Hatchery personnel, vaccinators and sexors, to ensure smooth fulfillment of daily tasks in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Responsible for planning and coordinating deliveries for all chick orders, ensuring deliveries are handled, in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Responsible for correct function of incubators and hatchers, and monitoring of hatching egg progress from the incubation period through to hatching.
