Dairy Consultant Alta Genetics is aggressively pursuing opportunities to be a valued business partner with today’s large progressive dairy operations. Our focus is going beyond the limits of a traditional AI company to create value for progressive dairy managers across Canada. We are looking for a progressive-minded and entrepreneurial individual to help lead the effort in the British Columbia. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for maintaining and increasing sales through a consultative approach and management program focus with established accounts and aggressively seeking new clients in the progressive dairy sector. You will work with a team of representatives to grow sales and manage relationships in key accounts. Your goals and objectives will align with creating value for your clients and an absolute devotion to customer satisfaction, courtesy, and professionalism in everything you do. SKILLS REQUIRED: - In-depth knowledge of reproductive management on progressive dairies
- Knowledge and interest in economic impact of genetic improvement and creating genetic strategies for expanding dairies.
- Excellent sales and “win-win” negotiating skills and experience.
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent work ethic and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Dairy Comp 305
- Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Advanced dairy business knowledge
- Willingness to Travel and have a valid driver’s license
