New-Life Feeds, a Canadian owned leader in the livestock feed market requires an experienced Operations Manager for its manufacturing facility in Lethbridge, Alberta. In Partnership with Ellison Milling Company, New-Life Feeds has served the Southern Alberta area since 1906 with feed and flour products.

Reporting to the General Manager of New-Life Feeds, the Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, budgeting and co-ordination of all operations department activities in a feed mill environment. Your primary focus will be the safe and efficient manufacturing of feed by a unionized team, while managing regulatory requirements, cost control, capital project upgrades, inventory control, and quality assurance.

The successful candidate should have past work experience in a management or supervisory role and an understanding of HACCP or Quality Assurance Programs. Additionally, you have demonstrated proficiency in computer operations along with strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of commodity markets and feed ingredients would be an asset.
