Reporting to the Manufacturing Quality Manager the Part Quality Assurance (PQA) Manager is considered an expert and consultant in his/her field; with knowledge, training, experience and the ability to drive improvement in the Plant supply base.  

 
Position Responsibilities:
1.     Manage the plant Receiving Inspection team and update part Incoming Inspection plan.
2.     Implement/Improve and support Supplier Quality tools and procedure at the plant level.
3.     Manages and drive corrective actions using a 8-D problem solving process methodology.
4.     Manages Top Worst Suppliers process and escalation of unsuccessful and repetitive corrective action. 
5.     Propose New Business Hold (NBH), CSL 1 and CSL2, monitoring actions and results.
6.     Manage and define the priorities of the activities at local supplier facilities (through PQA Engineer)
7.     Initiate supplier PPM reduction plans for local supplier’s.
8.     Validate & consolidate required supplier quality indicators, monitor effectiveness of SQP.
9.     Keep full track and coordinate all ISIR approvals CNH0 and non-critical CNH1 SSIR / ISIR .
10. Manage approval of inter-company ISIR/PAP
11. Participate at the CPM process, coordinating when required SQA and Eng. support
12. Coordinate and integrate activity with other PQA Managers on local supplier
13. Work with SQA team and PQA family to maintain and evolve common policies and procedures.


Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
1.     Education: 4 year College/University technical degree with an emphasis in engineering/quality for which the individual is being considered or equivalent experience – Advanced degree (master’s) preferred.
2.     Experience: 5+ years of manufacturing/quality experience
3.     3 years in Supervision or Project Management
4.     Experience and Leadership working with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools (design reviews, FMEAs, Contractual Control Plans, Inspection and Test plans, Gage R&R Studies, Capability Studies, SPC, 7-step or 8-D corrective action process)
5.     Ability to rapidly learn and apply the CNH processes and tools.
6.     Ability to rapidly learn emerging technologies in the specific commodity
7.     Professional certification (CQE, CQA, CQMgr, CMfgE, etc.) is perferred. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is preferred.
8.     Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
9.     Excellent computer skills: WPS, E-Viewer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, statistical software, etc.
10. Ability to work with personnel at all levels of the supplier’s organization and with CNH plants/platforms/senior management.
11. Ability to conduct meetings with and make presentations to platform leadership, industrial leadership, and senior management.
