Job Description:
Univar Canada Ltd. seeks an Assistant Credit Manager for its Agriculture Division based in Winnipeg. This position reports to the Credit Manager. We seek an experienced individual who will be responsible for: Managing accounts receivable and credit lines Administering credit and collections policies & procedures Evaluation and recommending acceptable credit limits Liaise with sales staff and management on credit issues Opens new accounts and general account maintenance Handling customer calls and inquires Assist Credit Assistant during account reconciliation periods
We require the following qualifications: University or equivalent degree Solid accounting / credit background Agricultural background / experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Self motivated and action orientated Miminum 3 years lending experience or equivalent
