Job Description:
Manage the commercial operations, including a small administrative staff at our western Canada wheat flour mill.Maximize profits through management of grain procurement, product sales and customer service. Responsible for Profit and Loss reporting. Oversee acquistions of grain for processing. Develop the most economical blends to meet customer specifications. Price and sell finished products and provide direction in sales of by-products. Develop and maintain relationships with the current customer base. Actively participate in the plant and food safety initiatives. Manage site transportation. Implement and assist in cost control and cost saving measures. Communicate and report plant issues to corporate management.
Job requirements:
Ideal canadidate will have prior experience in milling management. Highly motivated and competitive candidates are ideal for this position. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience using a computer, especially Micrsoft Word and Excel. The ability to multi-task is essential. |
