As Key Account Manager within our Seed Care group, you will be the primary liaison with our seed company partners in developing strategic, win/win relationships to cultivate the support & use of seed treatments.

Setting and achieving goals drives you. Creating sales strategies & programs energizes you. You have a proven track record of forecasting sales and devising an appropriate plan of action and work best in an environment where collaboration and communication with other high performers on “go to market” strategies is paramount.

Your Background & Qualifications should include:

  • Minimum B.Sc. in Agriculture, or Business preferred, plus a minimum of 10 years experience in crop protection sales or Marketing, or related role.
  • Extensive experience in the Canadian Crop seed treatment and crop protection market.
  • Strong interpersonal & communications skills including experience negotiating agreements and presenting to an audience.
  • Knowledge of key seed industry players and seed trade stakeholders, centers of influence, distribution, retailers, market structure and dynamics.
  • Previous sales or marketing management experience.
  • Understanding of financial analysis and business practices.
  • Good strategic influencing skills to coach, train and mentor staff, including interactions with internal and external customers.
  • CCSC certification
  • Comprehension of the Canadian and NAFTA agricultural, seed, seed treating and crop protection markets and the regulations and policies that affect these markets.
  • Knowledge of governing agencies and legislation that regulates the development and sale of seed treatments in Canada.
